Maidenhead United
Maidenhead United are a non league football team which plays in the Blue Square South the highest level of regional football in England, five promotions away from the Premier League.
The club has a long, distinguished history dating back to 1870 and has played at York Road in the town centre since 1871. The FA have acknowledged that this makes York Road the oldest continuously used football ground in the world! The Magpies offer the people of Maidenhead an stress free alternative to the sanitised world of professional football with the choice of whether to sit or stand to watch the game and even to enjoy a pint at the same time.
Entry is payable in cash at the turnstiles and is £10 for Adults, £6 for Concessions (NUS, OAP, UB40) and £2 for Under 16s. Under 16s can also join the Junior Magpies which will give them free entry to all Blue Square South games.
