Maidenhead’s Musical Men

Maidenhead’s new Community Choir had a successful first term at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts with 45 singers combining their voices for a colourful and entertaining repertoire from Gospel to Gershwin.

There are, however, four ladies to every man and the male section urgently needs some re-enforcement. The choir is keen to recruit more basses and tenors and any man will be welcomed with open arms.

The choir meets every Friday evening, during term time, from 7.15pm at the Long Barn at Norden Farm. There is no need to audition or to read music and the first session is a free trial. The next term starts on Friday 6 May will culminate in a concert shared with Gospel choir London Adventist Chorale in July. There is an opportunity to socialise and make new friends in the bar after the rehearsal.

More information can be found on www.nordenfarm.org, from the Box Office on 01628 788997, or just come along on the Friday 6 May!
