Sleeping Beauty – Maidenhead Pantomime

Sleeping Beauty comes to town this Christmas with Maidenhead Drama Guild’s annual pantomime which promises to provide lots of traditional family fun!

There’s jokes from Harry the Jester, a bit of slapstick with Nanny Slaptickle, some sing-along fun with the Fairy Godmothers, lots of booing the evil Deadly Nightshade, and of course lots of cheering for the valiant hero,
Prince William!

Princess Rose is cursed by the evil Deadly Nightshade, and despite the Fairy Godmothers’ best efforts, is doomed to sleep for eternity – that is unless she is awakened by her true love’s kiss. But Harry the Jester has just thrown Prince William out of the castle for being a peasant, and sent him packing on the first boat to Easter Island!

Will Princess Rose be saved? Will Harry, Winnie and Fairy Loopy be able to rescue Prince William from the Easter Island natives? Or will Deadly Nightshade get her wicked way?

The pantomime will be performed at the Desborough Suite, Maidenhead Town Hall [map]: Wednesday 15th December @ 7:30pm*; Thursday 16th @ 7:30pm; Friday 17th @ 7:30pm; Saturday 18th @ 10:30am & 2:30pm; Sunday 19th @ 12:00pm & 4:00pm.
